FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used for the water stream extinguishing downstream the pressure water lines in a receiving well. Energy absorber comprises a water conduit 1, a well, in the terminal vertical expansion having the form of a sphere 2, which dome is provided with a flow reflector in the form of a hollow toothed nipple 4. Sphere 2 cavity lower part has an installed truncated cone 6. Flow reflector in the form of a hollow toothed nipple 4 is coaxially directed downwardly towards the water conduit 1 outlet 5. Truncated cone 6 is installed with a small base with a narrow inlet 7 coaxially to the water conduit 1 outlet 5, and with a large base is up towards the flow reflector in the form of a hollow toothed nipple 4. Above the truncated cone 6 large base, an annular reflector 8 (screen) is arranged on the sphere 2 side walls in one plane of the flow reflector in the form of a hollow toothed nipple 4 lower ends. Between the truncated cone 6 upper base and the annular reflector 8 there is an annular outlet window 9 (gap). Under the dome 3, in the sphere 2 side wall, an outlet pipe 10 with a diverting closed well 11 in the form of an additional quench chamber is secured, which at the end has a discharge duct 12 or a pipeline. Truncated cone 6 sidewalls and the sphere 2 side walls are interconnected by rigid rods 13.
EFFECT: on all sections the flow is intensively suppressed in general, a high degree of protection of the discharge channel from the dynamic effects of excess energy of the high-speed flow of the supply conduit is achieved, which will increase the device reliability and reduce the structure cost.
