FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used to annihilate a water flow in end devices of closed pipelines and tunnel culverts. Energy damper comprises water conduit 1, vertical branch pipe 2, which is introduced into upper part of vertical cylindrical chamber 3. Vertical branch pipe 2 has an outlet. Above the outlet of the vertical branch pipe 2 there is check valve 4 in the form of a cylindrical cup installed upside down with an outlet air hole 5 in the upper part of the housing of chamber 3. Vertical cylindrical chamber 3 is installed with clearance above branch pipe 2 and upper part of chamber 3 is connected to cover 6 with hole 14 of well 7. Return ball valve 13 is placed in recess 10 forming groove with open ring 11 to prevent it falling out (fixation) and movement in space during operation. Side walls in upper part of chamber 3 also have air holes 8 and 9 for air outlet from well 7 under cover 6 with hole 14. Damper is equipped with valve 4 top position retainer made in the form of a magnet-ferromagnet pair. From lower side of chamber 3 on branch pipe 2, by means of change mechanism, jet-guiding reflector-screen 17 (cup-shaped) is installed. During water lifting, valve 4 moves upwards, air exits through hole 5, then through hole 14 in cover 6 into atmosphere, and air from well 7 through holes 8 and 9 enters hole 14 in cover 6, opening outlet to water and filling at the same time well 7, wherein position of valve 4 is fixed by rings 15 and 16 of magnet-ferromagnet pair. Diameter of recess of open annular space is 1.5 times larger than diameter of reverse ball valve 13, and its density from made material is 0.2…0.5 g/cm3.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and uniformity of distribution of costs, lower bottom speeds in flow and higher reliability of device; design of the device is easy to use.
