SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices for crushing materials and can be used on gyratory crushers. Crushing shell includes a main body having a positioning surface for positioning opposite to the frame or crushing head, which is rotatably mounted within the crushing zone, and a crushing surface for contacting with the material to be crushed, a wall. Wall is formed and extends between the mounting surface and the crushing surface, the wall having axially upper first and lower second ends. Body also comprises a plurality of wedges protruding radially on the crushing surface and distributed in the circumferential direction, wherein each wedge extends axially downwards from the region of the first end and ends in a circumferential direction with a pair of longitudinal steps. Body further comprises a plurality of axially extending channels formed and arranged in a circumferential direction between the recesses of opposite wedges.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to control the clogging zones within the crushing chamber.
