SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of grinding of material. The lower body of the gyratory crusher is proposed, containing an annular wall passing around the longitudinal axis of the lower body, and the annular wall contains a radially outward-facing surface, a radially inward-facing surface, an upper axial annular end and a lower axial annular end, at least one hatch opening formed through the annular wall. In the edge region, which is the area surrounding the hatch opening of the wall, the radial wall thickness is not greater than the radial wall thickness in the rest of the wall area outside the edge region in the same corresponding axial position of the hatch opening.
EFFECT: invention provides high efficiency during operation.
