FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to chemical industry and nanotechnology. First, intercalated graphite is obtained by treating crystalline graphite with a solution of ammonium persulphate in sulfuric acid and maintain it until expansion. From the resulting expanded graphite compound, a mixture is obtained by treating it with urea and glycerol. Mass ratio of the components is in range: urea : starting graphite – from 4:1 to 8:1; glycerin : initial graphite – from 15:1 to 30:1. This mixture is dispersed by intensive shearing deformation at a pressure of 0.2–2 MPa by passing it through the gap between the fixed body and the rotating disc, which is not more than 0.2 mm. Device for producing graphene-containing materials comprises a housing with charging 2 and discharge ports 3, feed unit for a mixture of expanded graphite compound with urea and glycerin, disk 4 mounted in the lower part of the housing, connected to a rotation drive, drive shaft of which is provided with a bearing assembly fixed in the central bore of the lid coaxially installed in the upper part of the housing with the possibility of adjusting the gap between the bottom and the lid. Loading opening 2 is located in the central part of the bottom, at the outlet it is made in the form of funnel 11, it is communicated with the node for feeding the graphite compound with urea and glycerin and is displaced from the body axis by a distance of 0.1–0.2 of its radius value. Discharge opening is located in the side wall of the housing above the upper edge of the disc.

EFFECT: inventions ensure production of low-layer and highly disperse graphene-containing materials in a continuous mode.
