FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of tin acetylides of general formula (PhC≡C)nSnI4-n, where n=1–4. Method involves the interaction of a tin alloy with iodine derivative in an organic solvent medium under heating, using a tin alloy with 1.5 % zinc. As the iodo derivative, 2-iodine-1-phenylacetylene is used. Reaction is carried out in an aromatic or ethereal solvent medium for 5–8 hours at a temperature of 130–145 °C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the temperature of the reaction, to shorten the time of obtaining the final product and to increase its yield.
