FIELD: ammunition; blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling and blasting operations, specifically to blocking gaseous products of an explosion in the charging cavity, and can be used for explosive destruction of rocks by the method of downhole charges. Downhole blocking device is made of a plastic polymer material. Device is provided with elements with a shape, the external diameter of which is commensurable with the diameter of the well. Axial rod is made cross-shaped in the cross-section, on which the same type of dome-like elements having slots are fixed on both sides. Dome-like elements contain protrusions, with which they are fixed by means of a stopper about notches made on a rod. Dome-like elements are made in the form of petals. Petals are made of different lengths with the arrangement of a long petal between short ones. On the rod there are from 2 to 4 dome-like elements. Dome-like elements are made with a symmetrical arrangement of the slots.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is a reduction in the specific consumption of the explosive agent per cubic meter of the broken rock mass, an increase in the fragmentation of the rock mass, the possibility of charging and full-fledged operation of the explosive in a well with excess water pressure.
