FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an industrial device in which pressing means (20) for wrapping strips of material (2) against forming mandrel (3) and traction means (10) to advance said strips of material to be shaped along forming mandrel (3) are structurally spaced apart to separate the two functions. Pressing means (20) comprise a plurality of deflectable press rollers (21) mounted in such a manner that they can freely rotate about their axes, and distributed radially around forming mandrel (3) so as to fit snugly against the surface of the mandrel. Traction means (10) include several traction belts (11) on drive rollers (12) located after pressing means (20).
EFFECT: device for the continuous production of tubular container bodies has been proposed.
