FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, namely to the hand grenade launchers anti-personnel particle grenades. Grenade warhead consists of axial rod and several lengthwise projectile blocks. Blocks are articulated to the rod front part, form in the cross-section a hollow cylinder enclosing an axial rod, and are connected with the umbrella mechanism of turning the blocks into a position, perpendicular to the axis of the rod. Axial rod is made of at least two parts. They are connected to each other with the possibility of undocking. In this case, one part of the projectile blocks is located on the axial rod first part. Projectile blocks second part is located on the axial rod second part. Longitudinal throwing blocks are configured to radially rotate about their fixation point to the axle rod, that the area of the projection of the section of each throwing block on the plane, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the grenade, is a value of 0.3…0.6 of its maximum value. Each finished warhead body can be made of steel, and central part of the body can be made of lead.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the effectiveness of the device due to the provision of axial and radial flows of the finished impact elements having both radial and axial velocity components.
