FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for strengthening treatment of parts from titanium alloys with an ultra-fine grain structure and can be used in aircraft engine building and power turbine construction for the protective-strengthening treatment of the airfoil blades of GTE compressor or steam turbine made of titanium alloys. Preliminary treatment of the surface of the part by electrolytic plasma processing is carried out. Electrolytic plasma processing is carried out at a voltage of 260–280 V in a 5–7 % aqueous solution of ammonium fluoride at a temperature of 65–75 °C. Then, ion-implantation treatment with nitrogen ions is performed at an energy of 15 to 18 keV, a dose of 1.6⋅1017 cm-2 up to 2⋅1017 cm-2, with a gathering rate of dose from 0.7⋅1015 s-1 up to 1⋅1015 s-1.
EFFECT: as a result, increase in the endurance and fatigue life of the parts.
