SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle control systems. In the method for controlling an automatic vehicle from a long-term computer memory, a mathematically processed image of the roadway with scanning elements is extracted, mathematically converted into an image in perspective, get a real image of the roadway, mathematically convert the real image of the roadway and get images of the scan elements. Compare the images of the roadway with the scanning elements with a mathematically transformed real image of the roadway, the results produce control actions for the automatic telephone station. Current mathematically processed road images with scanning elements from long-term memory and real images are obtained from at least two linear photosensitive devices. Sequence of actions for managing the automatic telephone exchange based on the analysis includes the preparatory stage and the stages of calculating the current steering angle, the current control of the accelerator pedal, determination of the presence of obstacles, plotting the roadway and analysing its correspondence to the real one.
EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle driving is reached.
