FIELD: feed industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the feed industry, in particular to a system for processing blood produced in the process of slaughtering for production of blood meal and method of its processing. Method consists in evacuation of cavities and channels of communication with each other in a system consisting of successively interconnected receiving container, pump with the function of pumping and homogenizing the pumped material, a heat exchanger, a cyclone with a storage bin, a reactor with a mixing device, which is connected to the said feed pump. After evacuation, raw material is moved by means of pump with function of pumped raw material homogenization into heat exchanger and from heat exchanger to reactor, in which raw material is subjected to heating, note here that, when heated, said pump is forced from heated reactor through heated heat exchanger and back into reactor. Then the raw material is sterilized in a reactor at temperature of 140°C under pressure in the reactor mixing device operation mode, thereafter, reactor and heat exchanger heating temperature is reduced by releasing steam-air mixture and pressure from reactor and their cooling. Drying of sterilized raw materials is carried out at temperature of 45–55°C when creating a vacuum in the working circuit of the system in two steps, on the first of which, to achieve moisture content of 70%, the raw material is mixed with a mixer in the reactor and from it is fed by the said pump through the heat exchanger and the cyclone back into the reactor, and at the second stage, the raw material with moisture content of 70% is additionally dried in the reactor to moisture content of not more than 10% in the operating mode of the mixing device and heating of the raw material by supplying steam to the reactor jacket.

EFFECT: described is a system and a method for processing blood produced in the process of slaughtering for production of blood meal.
