FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of educational laboratory equipment and can be used in the educational process, in the conduct of laboratory work and practical exercises. Claimed experimental apparatus for examining the characteristics of the pumps comprises a base on which a test pump with a water supplying head at the inlet and a high-pressure outlet hose is installed, with instrumentation comprising a flowmeter, a pressure sensor, a container with a working fluid, a computer connected via an electronic converter signals to the flowmeter and the pressure sensor of the instrumentation, which are located on the water supply head and high pressure hose, and electronic a motor that is connected via a splined coupling to a test pump according to the invention, the computer is further connected via an electronic signal converter to stepper motors mounted on the pump under test and connected via gears to the blades located in front of the impeller of the pump under test.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the depth and width of the research of centrifugal pumps by using and controlling stepper motors that regulate the position of the blades.
