FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to training laboratory equipment. Experimental installation for investigation of centrifugal pump specifications comprises a bed, on which a test pump with a high-pressure hose at the outlet is installed. Installation includes measuring and control equipment, comprising a flowmeter and a pressure sensor, container with working fluid, computer connected via an electronic signal converter to the flowmeter and the pressure sensor, which are located on the high-pressure hose, splined coupling, connecting the test pump to the electric motor. At the inlet of the test pump there is a high-pressure hose with measuring and control equipment, which further comprises a temperature sensor connected to the container through the valve, connected to the step motor. Computer is further connected via an electronic signal converter to the temperature sensor, frequency converter, connected to the asynchronous motor, and the step motor.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the depth and width of the research of centrifugal pumps due to the use of frequency control of the rotation speed of the asynchronous electric motor and controlling the step motor, which regulates the valve position.
