FIELD: technical diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical diagnostics and is designed to detect damage to the insulation of the armature winding of DC machines. Signal of a rectangular shape is given to the winding and the state of insulation of electric motor windings is measured by the diagnostic parameters. To calculate the diagnostic parameter, the values of the amplitude and period of two implementations of the wave damping processes appearing in the anchor winding under the influence of diagnostic electric pulses are used. In this case, these implementations are selected from the set of implementations of the wave damping processes fixed in different angular positions of the armature.

EFFECT: increased reliability of isolation monitoring state results.
