SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for spray coating on a substrate surface in which: (a) in the first stage, the thermoplastic material being processed in the extruder is melted and thereby liquefied, (b) the molten substance is pressurized by a carrier gas, (c) the mixture formed from said molten substance and said carrier gas is forced through one or more nozzles, and in the nozzle outlet zone of the spray jet, a gas-atomizer having a temperature, which is at least as high as the temperature of the melt, and (d) the resulting spray with the molten thermoplastic material being processed is sent to the surface of the substrate, the substance in the form of droplets in the flowing state falls on the surface of the substrate, forms a continuous coating on the surface of the substrate and then hardens.

EFFECT: technical result is the provision of a method by which good spray coating characteristics from a wide variety of susceptible thermoplastic processing of substances on a different kind of surface of a substrate in the form of a film possessing good ductility characteristics when bent.
