FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely traumatology, and can be used to stimulate the post-traumatic regeneration of the spinal cord. Method of stimulating the post-traumatic regeneration of the spinal cord consists in the single application of mesenchymal stem cells encased in the matrix to the area of injury. Mesenchymal stem cells are isolated from adipose tissue or tooth pulp, encased in a fibrin matrix of Tissucol. 6 weeks after the traumatic process of the spinal cord, several longitudinal incisions in the dura mater are applied and mesenchymal stem cells encased in the Tissucol fibrin matrix are applied to the lesion area.

EFFECT: use of this method allows to improve the recovery rates of the spinal cord function, effectively supporting the tissue structure in the area of damage, contributing to the successful course of neural regeneration processes.
