FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the following group of inventions: expandable polymerisable composition; variants of poly(betoxazine)-copoly(cyclic carbonate) polymerisation product; sealant, adhesive, coating, binding agent, or dental filling; variants for application of the expandable polymerisable composition; variants of methods for producing the poly(benzoxazine)-copoly(cyclic carbonate) polymerisation product; precured expandable polymerisable composition; application of the precured expandable polymerisable composition. Expandable polymerisable composition applied to produce poly(benzoxazine)-copoly(cyclic carbonate) polymerisation product. The composition contains at least one benzoxazine and at least one cyclic carbonate. Benzoxazine units contained in the composition constitute mutually crosslinkable benzoxazine units. The sealant, adhesive, coating, binding agent, or dental filling contain the expandable polymerisable composition. The expandable polymerisable composition contains at least one benzoxazine and at least one cyclic carbonate, wherein the expandable composition exhibits volumetric expansion during copolymerisation when heated. Method for producing a poly(benzoxazine)-copoly(cyclic carbonate) polymerisation product includes the stage of heating the expandable polymerisable composition to a temperature sufficient to initiate copolymerisation. Method for producing a poly(benzoxazine)-copoly(cyclic carbonate) polymerisation product includes the stage of heating the expandable polymerisable composition containing at least one benzoxazine and at least one cyclic carbonate to a temperature sufficient to initiate copolymerisation. Precured expandable polymerisable composition applied to produce the poly(benzoxazine)-copoly(cyclic carbonate) polymerisation product is produced by crosslinking the crosslinkable benzoxazines contained in the expandable polymerisable composition. The precured expandable polymerisable composition is applied as an expandable filling element for filling the spaces in apparatus wherein said precured expandable composition has a predetermined shape and wherein the precured expandable composition exhibits volumetric expansion during copolymerisation when heated.
EFFECT: production of a new benzoxazine-based expandable polymerisable composition exhibiting better expansion properties, in particular, high, adjustable, and reproducible degrees of expansion during polymerisation.
