SUBSTANCE: invention relates to and may be used in agriculture of open or closed ground. Method means that electrostimulation is performed on tomato plants of open or covered ground, and electricity is supplied from the power grid by a horizontally tensioned conductor connected at one end to the positive terminal of the step-down single-phase transformer with the rectifier, its second end insulated, and the negative terminal connected to the wet ground. Scourge of tomatoes are pinched by means of clothespins for flexible conductive cords, which have been discharged from the conductor, creating a closed adjustable safety low-current chain. Electric power is supplied from the battery by its automatic feeding through the diode.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the yield of tomato plants, as well as to reduce the maturation period.
