FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry, namely to a method for producing tetrakis-(trifluorophosphine) nickel, which is widely used for the deposition of nickel coatings, as well as for gas centrifuge enrichment of nickel isotopes as a working gas for the production of beta-voltaic current sources. Obtaining tetrakis- (trifluorophosphine) nickel includes dehydration and decomposition of nickel oxalate by heat treatment at a temperature of 300-350°C under reduced pressure, its cooling and subsequent heating to a temperature of 100-150°C, ensuring the interaction of the obtained powdered metallic nickel with phosphorus trifluoride. Heat treatment of nickel oxalate is carried out by grinding it in a ball vacuum mill for 1-3 hours at a speed of 160-180 rpm in the presence of quartz wool, which is taken in an amount of 50-100 g per 1 kg of nickel oxalate, and the mentioned heating is carried out at pressure 8-10 atm.
EFFECT: makes it possible to obtain tetrakis-(trifluorophosphine) nickel at a lower operating pressure, which leads to an increase in the safety of the process and a decrease in the hazard class of the installation and the room where the process of obtaining tetrakis-(trifluorophosphine) nickel is carried out and the simplification of the equipment.
