SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely obstetrics and gynecology, and concerns the prevention of thromboembolic complications in patients with morbid obesity after laparoscopic hysterectomy. For this, anticoagulant therapy is administered by subcutaneous administration of nadroparin calcium. In this case, the calculation of a single dose of the drug is made depending on the BMI: Patients with a BMI of 35–50 kg/m² injected into 0.4 ml, patients with a BMI greater than 50 kg/m² 0.6 ml of nadroparin calcium is administered. Administration of the drug begins 3–4 hours after the completion of the hysterectomy, repeating every 12 hours for 3–5 days. Then anticoagulant therapy is continued by prescribing tablets of an anticoagulant of direct action in a preventive dose.

EFFECT: method provides a reduction in the risk of thromboembolic complications in this group of patients due to the individual calculation of the dose of anticoagulant depending on the degree of obesity.
