METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING LABORATORY DIAGNOSIS OF THROMBINEMIA IN PATIENTS WITH COVID-19 INFECTION Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G01N33/86 A61B5/145

Abstract RU 2789822 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to clinical laboratory diagnostics, infectology and resuscitation, and can be used in a screening examination for diagnosing the state of thrombinemia based on the method for thrombin kinetics in patients with COVID-19 infection. In patients with COVID-19 infection, venous blood sampling is performed in the covid ward. On an automatic analyzer with a TGA module, the lag phase time (tLag), thrombin peak formation time (tPeak), thrombin peak (Peak) and endogenous thrombin potential (ETP) are determined. If tLag is less than 7.8 min, tPeak is less than 16.7 min, Peak is more than 153.7 nmol, ETP is more than 1735.9 nmol/min, a patient with COVID-19 infection is diagnosed with thrombinemia.

EFFECT: method provides objectivization of the state of thrombinemia, increasing the diagnostic significance of the method and simplifying the interpretation of the results through the use of the thrombin kinetics test.
