FILTER SUBSTRATE COMPRISING THREE-WAY CATALYST Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B01D53/94 F01N3/35

Abstract RU 2651029 C2

FIELD: environmental protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for purification of exhaust gas. Catalysed filter contains a porous substrate, inlet and outlet surfaces, the inlet surfaces separating the porous structure from the discharge surfaces, comprising pores having a first average pore size. Porous substrate is provided with an absorption layer, comprising a plurality of solid particles, the porous structure having an absorption layer comprising pores, having a second average pore size. Second average pore size is less than the first average pore size. Absorption layer is applied axially on the porous substrate as the first zone, comprising inlet surfaces on a first substrate length smaller than the total length of the substrate and a second zone containing outlet surfaces on the second substrate length, smaller than the total length of the substrate. Sum of the length of the substrate in the first region and the length of the substrate in the second zone is ≥ 100 %. Absorption layer of, at least, a second zone is an absorption layer of a three-way catalyst, containing one or more precious metals held on a high surface area main metal oxide and an oxygen storage component. Specific surface area of the absorption layer in the first zone is larger, than in the second zone, or the content of the absorption layer and the specific surface area of the absorption layer in the first zone is simultaneously greater than in the second zone. Description is given for: exhaust system for a combustion engine with positive ignition, comprising a catalytic filter, an engine with positive ignition, comprising an exhaust system and a method for simultaneously converting carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides and solid particles in an exhaust gas containing one or more catalytic poisons and discharged from a positive-ignition internal combustion engine in which the devices described are used.

EFFECT: technical result: improving the performance of the filter.
