FIELD: emission processing.

SUBSTANCE: catalytic monolithic filter with flow walls, having a triple catalytic activity, intended for use in a system for processing emissions of an internal combustion engine with forced ignition, includes a porous filter substrate that has the first surface and the second surface, causing the presence of a longitudinal direction between them, and the first and second sets of channels passing in the longitudinal direction. The first set of channels is open at the first surface and closed at the second surface. The channels of the first set of channels are partially limited by the surfaces of the channel walls. The second set of channels is open at the second surface and closed at the first surface. The channels of the second set of channels are partially limited by the surfaces of the channel walls. The channel walls between the surfaces of the channel walls of the first set of channels and the surfaces of the channel walls of the second set of channels are porous. The first wall coating, including a catalytic material with a certain layer thickness, is present at least, on the surfaces of the channel walls of the first set of channels. The catalytic material on the surfaces of the channel walls of the first set of channels includes one or more platinum group metals, wherein: (i) the amount by weight of one or several platinum group metals per unit of volume of the wall coating present on the surfaces of the channel walls of the first set of channels continuously changes in the longitudinal direction; and/or (ii) the thickness of the wall coating layer present on the surfaces of the channel walls of the first set of channels continuously changes in the longitudinal direction.
