FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to ternary catalyst, its use in exhaust systems for internal combustion engines. Triple catalyst for exhaust systems of internal combustion engines includes: (1) a palladium component containing palladium and mixed or composite cerium dioxide-zirconium dioxide-alumina; and (2) a rhodium component containing rhodium and a zirconium dioxide-containing material, in which the palladium component and the rhodium component are deposited on a silver-containing extruded molecular sieve substrate, wherein the mixed or composite cerium dioxide-zirconium dioxide-alumina has a weight ratio of CeO2: ZrO2: Al2O3 in range of 0.1–70:0.1–70:95–10 and wherein material containing zirconium dioxide is zirconium dioxide or mixed or composite oxide of cerium dioxide-zirconium dioxide. Exhaust system for internal combustion engines comprises said triple catalyst and at least one component selected from a group consisting of a catalytic selective catalytic reduction system, filter for entrapping particles, filtration system of selective catalytic reduction and NOx adsorption catalyst. Method of exhaust gas processing of internal combustion engine according to claimed invention comprises contacting exhaust gas with said triple catalyst.
EFFECT: technical result is providing improved cleaning of exhaust gases of internal combustion engines, in particular during cold start of engine.
