FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the food industry, in particular to a system for forming a product from a food mass. System comprises a mould member with a multitude of cavities, in which the food product is formed, for example, into patties, and a feed channel. Feed channel feeds the food mass into the cavities. Feed channel has a width that can be varied. Variation of the width of the feed channel is due to the presence in the system of means for changing the width of the feed channel.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions improves the quality of moulded products.
