FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical equipment, in particular to cable equipment, and can be used in the manufacture of heat-resistant wires and cables with a protective silver coating. Method of a thin heat-resistant electrical conductor manufacturing involves applying a nickel coating to the copper wire by galvanizing, heat treatment at a temperature of 300–400 °C in vacuum and holding for 1–2 hours. Then, the copper nickel-plated wire is subjected to pickling in the 8–30 % sulfuric acid aqueous solution and silver coating is applied by galvanizing, followed by drawing with deformation for up to 90 % and heat treatment. Inventions allow to produce a wire with a diameter of 0.08–0.26 mm with a silver coating, having increased coating mechanical strength and corrosion resistance due to the silver coating high adhesion.
EFFECT: increased coating mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
