FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of separation of emulsions by filtration, in particular to the field of cleaning liquids from oil-oil products and organic substances, and may be used in oil-producing, chemical, petrochemical, food, pharmaceutical, machine-building and other industries, as well as in wastewater treatment systems. Apparatus for separating of the emulsions comprises a housing with a filtering charge. Open filter porous granules are used as filter loading. Open pores of the granules have a capillary effect with respect to the dispersion medium. Part of the surface of the granules is made non-wetted for the dispersed phase. Dispersed phase nonwettability of the surface of granules is ensured by preliminary impregnation of the surface with a dispersion medium. During filtration in pyramidal-like cavities between the granules, the flow rate decreases sharply and the dispersed phase begins to settle on the protrusions of the surface of the granules, gradually filling these cavities completely. When backwashing the pellets are displaced, the spatial structure of the cavities is destroyed, and the dispersed phase accumulated in the pyramidal-like cavities and on the surface of the granules is carried away by the washing liquid.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the device, its performance characteristics.
