FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of separation of emulsions by filtration, in particular to the field of cleaning liquids from petroleum products and organic substances, can be used in oil producing, chemical, petrochemical, food, pharmaceutical, machine building and other industries, as well as in waste water treatment systems. Disclosed is an alluvial layer for cleaning water from petroleum products, non-wettabillity of the surface of regenerated round porous particles of the opal-cristobalite sedimentary rock of the given layer with petroleum products is provided by preliminary impregnation of particles with water. Size of the particles of the alluvial layer obtained by crushing tripoli until extraction of opal globules is less than 100 mcm. Trapping component is added to the alluvial layer, the surface of component has lyophilic properties to petroleum products. Trapping component is used in form of solid particles and/or viscous-plastic particles and/or liquid drops and/or gas emulsion. Particles of layered aluminosilicates, hydrophobized glass beads, polymer particles, viscous-plastic particles, particularly bitumen, oil and/or petroleum drops, a gas emulsion in a dispersion medium and a stabilized surfactant are used as trapping component. Particles of trapping components are treated with a solution of organosilicon functional compounds. Particle component is treated with a solution of organosilicon functional compounds by spraying an aqueous emulsion of organosilicon functional compounds.
