FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to military equipment, munitions and, in particular, to artillery projectiles, as well as to cruise missiles, bombs, mines and other similar kinds of hollow-charged munitions. Hollow-charged projectile includes a cylindrical shell, a main explosive charge and a detonator. Detonator has a cylindrical shape and is placed in the lower part of the main explosive charge, a bottom baseboard is placed between the bottom and the wall of the cylindrical shell. It has a height that is 1.5 times the height of the detonator and is designed in a way that a detonation wave, caused by the detonator explosion and reflected from the bottom baseboard, is able to completely cover the volume of the main explosive charge, excite the main explosive charge and increase the efficiency of the explosion of the projectile.
EFFECT: increase in the explosion efficiency of a hollow-charged projectile with a cylindrical shell due to an increase in the reliability of detonation wave coverage at the explosion of the detonator of the main explosive charge.
