FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine building, namely, to the methods of the blade machines body protection against penetration with the blade breakage and to the implementing this method devices, and can be used in the gas turbine engines fans and / or compressors, including in the aircraft engines for protection against destruction of the body made of a material, which strength characteristics are lower than the rotor blades material strength characteristics. Essence of invention consists in fact that in the protection method the detached blade turning is realized in the direction of rotation by the radial motion impulse conversion into the circumferential one. At that, enabling the body part in contact with the blade movement with its breakage in the rotation direction, and the material for the said body part manufacturing is selected under condition of the given material hardness and toughness values surpassing of the blades material analogous values. Method implementation device is made in the form of annular parts, each of which includes a shell with corrugations on its outer surface and additional annular projections forming equal sections on the shells outer surface, which width and height is equal to the shell thickness, and the body is provided with additional annular inserts on the shells inner surface. Inserts are configured to rotate relative to the blades axis of rotation and are connected to respective shells by means of flared ends.
EFFECT: proposed technical solution ensures the detached blade fragmentation process certainty by eliminating of the blade penetration into the body by preventing the transfer of part of the energy from the rotating rotor when striking to the constrained detached blade by the next blade and ensuring its grinding by the intact rotor blades, which increases reliability of the method and the device for its implementation against penetration, by excluding the possibility of the blade penetration into the body surface, made of a less durable material than the blade material.
