SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for forming three-dimensional ultrasound images. System comprises an array of transducers for providing an ultrasonic reception signal, a beam former for controlling an array of transducers to scan the volume, and for receiving the ultrasound reception signal and providing an image signal, controller for controlling the beam former, a signal processor for receiving the image signal and providing three-dimensional image data and a contrasting three-dimensional image data, and an image processor for receiving image data and providing display data, wherein the image processor is configured to receive three-dimensional ultrasound image data and contrast three-dimensional ultrasound image data and perform object segmentation simultaneously from the three-dimensional ultrasonic image data and the contrast three-dimensional ultrasonic image data.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the accuracy of segmentation, using integrated joint information.
