FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical virology and to strain of influenza virus. Vaccine strain A/17/New York/15/5364 (H1N1) pdm09 is a reassortant obtained by crossing wild virus A/New York/61/2015 (H1N1) pdm09 with a cold-adapted temperature-sensitive virus A/Leningrad/134/17/57 (H2N2) – attenuation donor that is harmless to humans. Strain A/17/New York/15/5364 (H1N1) pdm09 is actively propagated in developing chick embryos at optimal temperature of 32 °C, is characterized by temperature sensitivity and cold tolerance and harmlessness for laboratory animals. Reassortant inherited the genes that encode surface antigens of hemagglutinin (HA) virus and neuraminidase (NA), from epidemic parental virus and remaining six genes encoding internal non-glycosylated proteins from the donor of attenuation.
EFFECT: presented solution can be used in practical public health for prevention of incidence of influenza in adults and children.
