FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of mechanical engineering, and in particular to the production of metal products from sheet blanks. In the method of welding the T-beam with the laser beam, mechanical sheets of the required dimensions are prepared by means of mechanical and chemical processing within the range (L × W × T) 1,500 × 100 × 4 mm up to 6,000 × 300 × 12 mm of ordinary quality steel, or high-quality steels, or other structural alloys. Metal sheets are assembled in the form of the T-joint so that the shelf is located on top of the wall, and fixed on the welding table or on the flight of the portal-frame installation. Laser beam is melted through the shelf in the direction that is symmetrical to the direction of fixation of the wall, so that the shelf and the wall form the welded joint. Welding modes depend on the thickness of the shelf and on the required depth of wall penetration. Laser welding modes are set by the program of the robotic center.
EFFECT: main parameters of laser welding modes are the linear welding speed and the laser radiation power.
