FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of predicting the risk of developing ischemic stroke, taking into account genetic factors, refers to biochemistry. Method includes isolation of DNA from peripheral venous blood, analysis of genetic polymorphisms rs3025058 MMP-3 and rs11568818 MMP-7. Combination of the genotype 6A/6A rs3025058 MMP-3 with the AA genotype rs11568818 MMP-7 is a risk factor for the development of ischemic stroke (OR = 1.67).
EFFECT: invention can be used to identify the risk of stroke in individuals of Russian nationality who are residents of the Central Chernozem Region.
