FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna equipment and can be used for spatial interference suppression acting at the frequencies of the main and mirror channels of receiving active phased array antennas (APAA), by forming dips in the directional pattern (DP) in the directions of the interference sources. Method for the spatial suppression of interference acting at the frequencies of the primary and mirror APAA reception channels, based on the weighting of the signals received by each radiator with the help of complex weighting coefficients (CWC), their subsequent summation, in which CWC is found as the principal vector of the beam of Hermitian forms corresponding to the largest characteristic number of the beam, in the determination of which information is used about the direction to the signal source, its spectrum, the spatial and frequency distribution of sources of interference and their relative levels, and as the first Hermitian form, the square of the mean value of the radiation pattern in the direction of arrival of the signal in the frequency band of the main reception channel is selected. When determining the CWC, as the second Hermitian form, the sum of the average noise and interference powers in the frequency bands of the main and mirror reception channels over the entire space of real angles is chosen.
EFFECT: possibility of suppressing interference acting at the frequencies of the main and mirror APAA receiving channels, algorithmically without changing the hardware of the APAA, namely by weighing the signals received by each radiator with the help of a CWC.
