FIELD: technology of water and air purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tower mass exchangers and is intended for the air wet cleaning of gaseous hazards. Absorber contains vertical cylindrical housing with inlet and outlet gas branch pipes, horizontal mass exchange plates, sprinkler and drip pan in the form of two horizontal partitions. Between the horizontal partitions the droplets precipitation shells are concentrically arranged. In the central shell suspended on the spring piston is arranged. Gap between the partitions is provided with at least one additional horizontal partition and forming two chambers vertically installed radial wall. Chambers are limited in height by the upper and lower partitions, one of which is communicated with the central shell cavity through the window made by this chamber entire height. One chamber is equipped with inlet windows into the channels between shells. Second chamber is provided with the said channels exit windows and formed in the upper partition central exit window. Sprinkler nozzle contains housing with the swirling chamber and nozzle insert. Housing is provided with inlet branch pipe having opening of the coaxial with it inlet cylindrical chamber, swirling chamber located coaxially relative to the inlet chamber and made in the form of cylindrical cup. On the side surface the cylindrical cup has three tangentially located holes. Holes axes are disposed tangentially relative to the swirling chamber. Made of solid materials nozzle insert is located coaxially to the swirling chamber. Inside the insert, successively arranged and coaxial to each other and to the swirling chamber cylindrical surface two calibrated holes are made: cylindrical hole and conical hole. These holes act as the diffuser, increasing the cone angle at the top of the liquid spray plume. To the swirling chamber cylindrical cup bottom, from the nozzle insert side, auger with helical blades is axially symmetric and coaxially attached, which direction is opposite to the flow twisting direction in the swirling chamber.
EFFECT: invention enables increase in the drop catching efficiency with variable gas flow rates.
