SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition for small arms and can be used in manufacture of bullets having ogive and cylindrical surfaces. Bullet of the cartridge of the small arms is made in the form of a head and a cylindrical part, while the outer surface is made of an ogive, on which, at an angle of 3–5 degrees to its longitudinal axis, flight-control grooves of a bullet with a length equal to 0.4–0.9 of the length of the ogive. Depth and width of the grooves are made equal to 0.01–0.2 caliber bullets. Grooves in the cross section are made in the form of an arc or a triangle.

EFFECT: technical result is increased stabilization of a bullet.
