FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to traumatology and orthopedics and can be applicable to revision hip replacement. Anterolateral approach to the hip joint is performed. Replacement of the acetabular component and the liner is performed. On the cone of the neck of the femoral component with a diameter of 11/13 mm, an adapter with an internal diameter of 11/13 mm and an outer 12/14 mm and a test head of the endoprosthesis for a diameter of 12/14 mm are worn. Reduction and selection of the required dimension of the endoprosthesis head are performed in accordance with the required offset, followed by removal of the test head and installation of the endoprosthesis head for a diameter of 12/14 mm on the cone of the femoral neck 11/13 mm in diameter.
