FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of electrical engineering and can be used during manufacturing of the dye sensitized solar cell with the porous insulating substrate made of ceramic and organic fibers. Inventive porous insulating substrate is made of microfibers and comprises the layer (5) of woven microfibers and the layer (6) of nonwoven microfibers, which is applied to the first side of the woven microfiber layer, wherein at least the portion of the nonwoven microfibers are applied to the openings between the woven microfibers and the thickness of the nonwoven microfiber layer (6) varies depending on the location of the openings (14) in the layer (5) of woven microfibers, so that the layer (6) of nonwoven microfibers is thicker in the mentioned openings and thinner on the microfiber surface of the layer of woven microfibers.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the increased mechanical strength of the substrate while reducing its thickness.
