FIELD: power sources.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a unit of a dye-sensitized solar cell, a photovoltaic charger. The unit (1) of a dye-sensitized solar cell contains: a working electrode containing a porous light-absorbing layer (10), a porous first conductive layer (12), including a conductive material for extracting photogenerated electrons from the light-absorbing layer (10), a porous insulating layer (105), a counter electrode containing a porous catalytic conductive layer (106), formed on the opposite side of the porous insulating layer (105), an ionic electrolyte for the transfer of electrons from the counter electrode to the working electrode, moreover, the first conductive layer (12) contains an insulating oxide layer (109) formed on the surfaces of the conductive material, and the porous catalytic conductive layer (106) contains a conductive material (107’) and catalytic particles (107’’) distributed in the conductive material.
EFFECT: high long-term stability of performance characteristics, an increase in the efficiency of the solar cell unit, the ability to work in a wide temperature range.
