CONNECTOR FOR PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR INDIVIDUAL USE, IN PARTICULAR FOR DEVICE FOR PROTECTION OF HEARING ORGANS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61F11/12

Abstract RU 2654620 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and medical equipment. Connector is proposed for a personal protective device, as well as a method for its use and storage. Connector has initial length (L1). Connector, being stretched, independently maintains its length (L2) in the stretched state. In addition, the connector is configured to self-transition when heated from the extended state to reconstructed state (L3). In this case, the connector can be stretched to the length that the user prefers; and after using the device, the connector can be shortened to a length for storage. In the event that the length of the connector in the stretched state is greater than that preferred by the user, connector can be shortened to the required length in the restored state. Connector may be made from a mixture of polymers comprising ethylene vinyl acetate and thermoplastic polyurethane.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase the comfort of use, which is achieved through the use of polymers that provide the above techniques, providing comfort.
