FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to ear plugs. The plug comprises an elongated core and an outer layer. The elongated core contains the first material and has the first and the second ends and a main outer surface. The outer layer contains the second material, and covers at least part of the main outer surface of the elongated core. In this case, the second material includes expanding spheres comprising thermoplastic spheres with a shell containing gas; wherein the outer layer comprises a noise reduction portion with the first average density c1, and a leg with the second average density c2, at that, c2> 1.2c1.
EFFECT: invention expands the number of medical devices that are inserted by pressing.
