FIELD: personal usage items.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to product suitable for ear plug formation, and article which is ear plug. Article comprises elongated core or base containing first material and having first and second ends or main surface, and outer layer or outer main surface, containing thermoplastic second material, covering at least part of outer main surface of elongated core or base and including inactivated foaming agent with expanding spheres and inactivated chemical foaming agent. At that, inactivated foaming agents can be activated to increase volume of external layer and core has stiffness exceeding outer layer stiffness.
EFFECT: providing easy insertion into ear canal, not requiring preliminary compression or "rubbing" of noise suppressing part, wherein outer layer provides adequate comfort when placed in user ear canal.
