SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to an aural plug and a method of making an auricular plug. Plug contains a core containing a proximal end, a distal end, the main external surface and a longitudinal axis extending from the proximal end to the distal end. Plug has noise-suppression body attached to the main external surface of the core. Noise-suppression body comprises a base and a tip. Distal end of the core is located inside the noise-suppressing body, and the tip extends in a distal direction farther than the distal end of the core. Noise-suppression body includes a cavity of the tip of the noise-suppressing body extended in a proximal direction from the tip and containing a distal hole. Tip cavity has volume limited by side wall formed by noise suppressing body, and bottom formed by distal end of core. Side wall of the tip cavity contains multiple ledges extended inward towards the longitudinal axis. Method includes a step of coating a portion of the main outer surface of the core, which comprises a first material, with a second material which contains a non-activated foaming agent. Method includes a step of activating the non-activated foaming agent in the cavity of the mould to form a noise-suppressing body attached to the main outer surface of the core in the cavity of the mould.

EFFECT: technical result is to facilitate insertion of the earplug into the ear canal, more comfortable wearing.
