SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Disclosed is a composition which induces increased immune response against lentivirus, and its use for the prevention or treatment of lentiviral infection, and also a method for preparing the active substance of the disclosed composition. Disclosed composition contains, as an active substance, an isolated mutated lentiviral ENV protein of a human or monkey, substantially devoid of immunosuppressive activity, or a fragment thereof. Said protein or fragment comprises a mutated immunosuppressive domain (ISU), comprising the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 416 and providing no immunosuppressive activity of said ENV protein or fragment, while maintaining their antigenicity, three-dimensional structure and their expression on a plasma membrane.

EFFECT: present composition can be used in medicine to prevent or treat lentiviral infection.
