UNIT OF ABSORPTION AND ELECTROCHEMICAL DESORPTION OF CARBONATE GAS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B01D53/62 B01D53/14

Abstract RU 2654755 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of extraction of carbon dioxide from air, which has changed due to the vital activity of people, the operation of technical devices and others. Installation includes subsystems of absorption and desorption, where the absorption subsystem contains in the working space a perforated pipeline for supplying a stream of purified air to the spiral nozzle, increasing the contact surface of the air / absorbent, with the outlet branch pipe of the ventilation system in the upper part of the working space, and the desorption subsystem is designed as an electrochemical desorber consisting of three-chamber electrochemical cells, with two cation-exchange membranes, separating the working space into a cathode chamber, a decarbonization chamber and an anode chamber, with the possibility of forcing the reacted solution of the absorber into the cathode chamber and the decarbonization chamber, with the outputs from the cathode chamber of hydrogen and the solution of the absorber to the phase separation separator and subsequent feeding of the absorber solution to the spray nozzle of the absorber, and compressed hydrogen through a pipeline containing the valve "up to itself", into the anode chamber, with the outputs from the carbon dioxide and water decarbonization chamber to the phase separation separator and subsequent supply of water to the collection tank of the absorber, and the compressed carbon dioxide through the pipeline, containing the valve "up to itself", into the system of utilization of carbon dioxide.

EFFECT: technical result is to ensure low vibration characteristics of the installation, increase the degree of carbon dioxide extraction from the air, and provide an opportunity to compress carbon dioxide.
