METHOD OF SCREENING THE DIAGNOSTICS OF THE RISK OF AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS (ASD) IN CHILDREN (AND ITS OPTIONS) Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2655073 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to psychophysiology and can be used to screen the diagnosis of the risk of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in children. Reading and recording of biometrics, in particular, heart rate indicators: the index of pressure IP and the mode amplitude AMo are continuously taken. Then, the frequency of states during the monitoring period is evaluated and data on the degree of compliance of the psychophysiological states of the patient with conditions, characteristic of autism, are obtained. Based on the above-mentioned data, a conclusion is made about whether this condition is compliant with the risk group for the occurrence of ASD. Also, the embodiments of the method allow for the behavioral factor to be taken into account and to refine the estimate, based on the behavior, obtained with the use of biometric data.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a simplified, objective and early detection of children from the risk group for the emergence of ASD, including diagnosis of children who have impaired communicative functions due to the use of the most significant and simple psychophysiological measurements, not requiring a long examination.
