METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF SEVERITY OF AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2783698 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to psychiatry, neurology and pediatrics. A method for predicting the severity of the course of autism spectrum disorders in children is proposed, including the study of blood serum to determine the concentration of the prognostic biomarker neurotrophin BDNF. With a decrease in the level of BDNF concentration in the blood serum less than 525.38 pg/ml, a high risk of developing neurodysfunction, proapoptotic processes and the formation of a severe form of autism are diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention provides an extension of the arsenal of means for making a diagnosis at the early stages of the development of a disease and the possibility of monitoring the effectiveness of prescribed therapeutic measures.
