FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: rounded automucous flap is cut out from a lip exceeding a corneal diameter by 4 mm. The automucous flap is moved from the lip to a walleye surface with pre-removed epithelium from its entire surface, and the flap is pre-fixed with interrupted sutures to surrounding tissues. Then 5-6 months later, the automucous flap previously moved onto the walleye is incised along the formed scar between the automucous flap from the lip and conjunctiva in 3/4 of the corneal circle; the automucous flap is separated from the lip above the entire surface of the wall eye; the corneal prosthetic complex is implanted that is followed by placing the separated automucous flap from the lip onto the corneal prosthetic complex and incision region from above and fixed to the surrounding tissues by interrupted sutures.
EFFECT: method provides reducing risk of necrosis, reducing risk of prosthesis detachment.
